生まれつき耳が聞こえない＜ろう者＞でクルド人の少年ラワン。
イラクでの生活にラワンの将来を案じた両親は、イギリスに亡命することを決意。
難⺠キャンプで 1 年を過ごした後、ある支援者の尽力で一家はイギリスに入国。
ラワンはダービーにある王立ダービーろう学校に入学することに。
生まれて初めて手話を学んだラワンは、先生や友達とコミュニケーションを取ることで、
周囲が驚くような成⻑を遂げていく。 
そんな中、ラワン一家は突然、イギリス政府から国外退去を命じられるのだった......。 
世界各国の映画祭で多くのドキュメンタリー賞を受賞、2026年1月劇場公開。

Lawand, a young Kurdish boy, is born Deaf. Concerned for his future 
in Iraq, his parents make the difficult decision to seek asylum in the UK.
After spending a year in a refugee camp, a dedicated supporter helps the 
family immigrate to the UK. There, Lawand enrolls in The Royal School for 
the Deaf in Derby. For the first time in his life, he learns sign language 
and begins to communicate with his teachers and friends, making astonishing 
progress. Suddenly, Lawand's family is ordered by the UK government to be 
deported. This film has won numerous documentary awards at film festivals 
around the world and is scheduled for a theatrical release in January 2026.
