Profile
【Asuka JITSUKAWA】
Born in Chiba Prefecture, she began playing the piano at the age of three and made her debut at Suntory Hall at twelve. Since then, she has been invited to perform in numerous concerts throughout Japan, as well as across Asia and Europe. She has appeared with major orchestras including the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, the Hanoi Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Chiba Symphony Orchestra.
She is a top prizewinner at seven international competitions. Her distinctions include First Prize at the 15th Japan Mozart Music Competition, the 2nd Hanoi International Piano Competition (Vietnam), and the Marta Dybelli Piano Competition (Austria), as well as Second Prize at the 11th Mozart International Competition (Italy).
She studied under Chiyoko Yamada, Tomoko Tami, Dang Thai Son, Ray Eguchi, Markus Schirmer, and Roberto Plano. After graduating from the Music High School and later the Faculty of Music at Tokyo University of the Arts, she completed her master’s degree at the same institution. She then earned a master’s degree with highest unanimous distinction from the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, and pursued further studies at the Pinerolo Music Academy.
In addition to her solo performances, she is actively engaged in chamber music and song accompaniment, earning recognition for her artistry and versatility.
【 Denis Bernier Martin 】
Originally from Québec, Canada, she made her debut at the age of fourteen performing as a soloist with orchestra. She graduated from the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal with the highest distinction, and went on to complete her studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz and the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. She later earned an Artist Diploma from the Buchmann–Mehta School of Music in Israel. Her principal teachers include Dejan Bogdanović, Michael Frischenschlager, Yair Kless, and Eyal Kless.
She is a laureate of numerous competitions, including top prizes at the Canada Music Competition, the Gaetano Zinetti International Competition, the Marta Dybelli Competition, the Israel Philharmonic Chamber Music Competition, and the Buchmann–Mehta Concerto Competition. As a soloist, she has performed with orchestras in Canada, Hungary, and Israel. As a chamber musician, she has appeared in major concert series at venues such as Place des Arts in Montréal, the Arnold Schönberg Center in Vienna, and Clairmont Hall in Tel Aviv.
Following positions with the ORF Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra as a second violinist and the Bruckner Orchestra Linz as a first violinist, she currently serves as a first violinist with the Norrköping Symphony Orchestra in Sweden.
