In May, it is the season for the first use of the portable brazier in tea ceremony. Before the systematization of wabi-cha, the portable brazier was used throughout the year. It is said that the basic form of the tea ceremony was established based on this portable brazier.

Just as fresh young leaves vigorously grow towards the blue sky, it is desired to prepare refreshing tea with that same vigor.

Participation Fee: 2000 Japanese Yen per person

Duration: 30 minutes

* We do not accept children under 7 years old.

Attire: Western attire acceptable (Smart Casual)

Please bring white socks.

Please join as guests of the tea ceremony, where you can observe authentic tea ceremony. Explanation of basic guests etiquette (bowing, eating sweets, drinking tea) will be provided.

Includes two servings of thin tea and seasonal sweets to enjoy with your eyes and palate.
