SOHGA-AN offers traditional tea ceremony in the district of Hanabata-cho, positioned right in front of Kumamoto Castle. The award-winning tea ceremony lasts for 45 minutes. The tea ceremony is traditionally performed with the knees on the floor but you can sit comfortably.

CONTENTS:

· Lecture on the matcha production process

· How to sit down, stand up, and bow properly in a Japanese tea room.

· Authentic tea ceremony led by a host who speaks English.

· Drinking a bowl of matcha and eating Japanese sweets.

*Children under 10 cannot enter the tea ceremony venue.
