Enjoy the marriage of delicious Japanese cuisine from a master chef while you learn about sake from a British sake pro.
This month sees the return of the Sake Exchange Tokyo Workshop and it's undergone a bit of a renewal.
The new Sake Exchange Tokyo will be held at KURAND's own cozy little dining space in the heart of Shibuya, just a hop and a skip from the New South Exit of the station.
The main features
A workshop by a Sake Pro Performing on an International Stage
Your host for this small, private workshop is Christopher Hughes, an internationally recognised Sake Sommelier and Teacher of the WSET (Wine Spirits and Education Trust) sake qualification in Tokyo. Enjoy a guided presentation with sake and food that introduces sake and sake culture from a wide variety of viewpoints. Whether you are new to sake or an aficionado, you are sure to gain something new from this experience.
Discover the joys and hidden magic of pairing Japanese cuisine with sake!
Once seated, guests will be served 10 courses of delicious Japanese cuisine expertly prepared by a master chef from specially selected ingredients. These will be married with a selection of top-flight sake delivered straight from the brewery. And if 10 sake is not enough, guests are free to try as many sakes as they like from the Sakeba 30-sake strong line-up and this is included in the price.
